Alarm Tock is a talking alarm and timer app. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled. We keep it simple: the app does not require an account and does not sell your data.
Your alarms, timers, labels, chosen voices, and any voice recordings you make are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app.
When you type a message for an alarm or timer, that text is sent securely over HTTPS to our speech service to generate spoken audio. The generated audio is cached so it can play instantly. We do not attach your identity to this text and do not use it for advertising.
If you choose to record your own voice, the microphone is used only while you are recording. Recordings stay on your device and are played back when the alarm or timer rings.
With your permission, the app schedules local notifications so alarms can ring on your lock screen. These are handled by your device's operating system.
The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no location or contacts access.
Alarm Tock is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
